Data controller

The data controller for personal data collected on the sensitips.com website is:

Valentin Reynaud, as a private individual
24 rue Alain Savary, 25000 Besançon, France
Email: valentin.reynaud@sensitips.com

SensiTips is a company project currently being set up.

Data collected

When you use the contact form, we receive:

  • your first name, last name and email address;
  • the subject and content of your message;
  • a record of your consent (box ticked before sending);
  • the page of the website from which the message was sent.

When the form is sent, our service provider Formspree also processes technical connection data (including IP address, browser type, date and time).

The website does not use any audience measurement or advertising tools.

Purpose and legal basis

Your data is used solely to respond to your request (information, quote, technical discussion) and to follow it up.

This processing is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the box in the form. You may withdraw it at any time by writing to valentin.reynaud@sensitips.com; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.

Recipients and service providers

Your data is intended solely for the data controller. It is never sold, rented or transferred. It is processed on the controller's behalf by the following service providers:

  • Formspree (Formspree, Inc., United States): receiving form messages, forwarding them by email and storing them in our Formspree account;
  • Google (Gmail) (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland): receiving and storing form messages in a Gmail mailbox;
  • OVHcloud (2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France): website hosting.

Transfers outside the European Union

Formspree is established in the United States, a country that may not offer a level of personal data protection equivalent to that of the European Union. The transfer of your data to Formspree is based on your explicit consent (Article 49(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the box in the form.

Google (Gmail): messages received in Gmail may be processed by Google on servers located outside the European Union, including in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, recognised by the European Commission, and Google states that it relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses where required.

Retention period

Contact data is kept for 3 years from the last exchange, then deleted, including in the Formspree account and the Gmail mailbox.

Cookies and local storage

The website does not set any advertising or audience measurement cookies. It only stores the following in your browser (local storage), without consent because this is strictly necessary for it to work:

  • your chosen theme (light or dark);
  • your chosen language (French or English);
  • your cookie choices, kept for 6 months.

If audience measurement tools or external content (videos, maps…) are added to the website, they will only be enabled with your consent. You can change your choices at any time with the button, also available at the bottom of every page.
