Micron d'Argent 2026: our interview on the Micronora set
Interviewed by Arts & Métiers Alumni on the set of the Micronora trade show, Valentin Reynaud presents SensiTips, looks back at the 2026 Micron d'Argent (Silver Micron) and shares the ambitions of the company, which will be founded in January 2027.
On the set of the Micronora trade show, Valentin Reynaud, co-founder of SensiTips and an Arts et Métiers engineer, spends four minutes with Arts & Métiers Alumni looking back at our Micron d'Argent (Silver Micron) and at the project. Video in French. On the agenda:
- What was rewarded: sensors that can measure forces from 20 µN to 2 N, with a resolution down to the nanonewton, a sensitivity about a million times greater than that of our fingertips. This performance relies on a patented innovation.
- What SensiTips really is: beyond the sensor, the know-how to implement it, integrate it and support integrators in their systems and workflows.
- The markets responding most today: complex microcomponents, in particular those 3D-printed at the micrometre scale with photosensitive resins, a fast-growing field driven above all by photonics.
- The roadmap: a company founded in January 2027, eventually creating jobs in R&D and production.
- A decisive ecosystem: the Itinéraire Chercheur-Entrepreneur scheme and a postdoctoral position funded by the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Region, and the support of FC'Innov, Bpifrance and French Tech.
Thank you to Arts & Métiers Alumni for this interview recorded on the Micronora set!
